The model

The model reads a kept call and points at the words. Code checks every figure and decides what goes where, and DU or LP judges the loan.

In Proxara, a model reads the words of a call the officer keeps into what the call settled, and that is all it does. Code checks every figure against the words and decides what may be written where, and the officer checks the result. The model never decides what is written, sends anything or approves anything.

What the model does

Once the officer keeps a call, it reads each person’s words and returns what was settled (the house, the price, the borrower’s employer and income, the next step), each item with the words that said it and the moment they were said. It writes a short summary of the call for a mortgage. Nothing reaches it before the officer keeps the call. In a connected install it reads along as the call goes.

What code does

Code keeps an item only if the words it cites were said, at the moment it names. Of two items that disagree, it keeps the later one. It decides what may go where: personal details stay in the notes, nothing is written as the borrower’s that the borrower didn’t say or confirm, and in a connected install the Encompass writer takes only loan fields on its own list. Social Security numbers and dates of birth are masked everywhere but their own items, whatever the model wrote.

Where it runs

Azure OpenAI, in Microsoft’s US data zone, at a pinned version. Under Microsoft’s terms for it, the model keeps nothing between requests, and what it is sent and returns is not used to train any model and is not available to OpenAI. Microsoft’s abuse monitoring may keep a request its classifiers flag, in its US data store, for review by Microsoft staff.

Never trained on your calls

Proxara trains no model on borrower data and uses it for nothing but the officer’s work. The model is the same pinned version from the first call to the last.

Fair lending

Proxara doesn’t make credit decisions, and the app doesn’t touch credit at all. DU or LP and the lender’s own people decide, and in a connected install credit, DU and the disclosures run only on the officer’s yes. Proxara never produces an adverse action notice, and nothing it writes uses race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age or any other characteristic the Equal Credit Opportunity Act protects.
