Continuity and exit

What happens to calls if Proxara is down, if it were gone or your environment is attacked, and when you stop using it.

Updated 2026-10-31

While an officer’s cell forwards to Proxara, their calls depend on Proxara and Telnyx, and there is no second route. Turning forwarding off puts calls straight back on the officer’s phone. That decides most of what follows.

If Proxara is down

A forwarded call reaches the officer through Telnyx and Proxara’s server. If either is down, the call may not reach them, and there is nowhere for it to fail over to. Their phone company’s off code puts calls back on their phone: *73 on Verizon, #21# on AT&T and ##21# on T-Mobile. A call already connected stays connected if Proxara stops hearing it. What stops is the write-up of the calls Proxara didn’t hear: those are the officer’s to note, as they were before Proxara.

If Proxara were gone

Each officer switches off the forwarding on their own number, with the code their phone company gives, and their calls ring as they always did. The details Proxara emailed stay in their mailbox, and the leads it put on Monday stay on their board. In a connected install, every application, lead, note, calendar entry and message Proxara wrote is already in the lender’s own Encompass, CRM and Outlook, as the lender’s own records.

If your own environment is attacked

The app reaches nothing of yours. In a connected install:

  • Each grant withdrawn in one step: the Proxara user in Encompass, the Microsoft 365 consents, the Teams app, the CRM’s partner access and the borrower app’s key are each the lender’s to switch off, and Proxara stops reaching that system at once.
  • Your systems stay the record: Proxara keeps what each call settled, not the loan file. The file of record is the lender’s own Encompass.
  • Every write can be traced: each write Proxara made is recorded with what was there before, so any change can be found and put back.

When you stop using Proxara

An officer turns forwarding off and deletes their account in the app, and everything Proxara holds for them goes at once. Deleting the app alone doesn’t turn forwarding off.

In a connected install, take the officers off the assistant. They stop being worked at once, and 30 days later everything Proxara holds about their borrowers is deleted. Each officer switches off forwarding, and the lender withdraws its grants. For an install in the lender’s own Azure, the lender deletes its resource group, and Azure keeps the deleted Key Vault recoverable for 90 days before it erases it.
